REGIONAL STAKEHOLDERS: Our collection of builders and contractors

Everyone in the region uses, relies on, or is impacted by the transportation system, so everyone should have an opportunity to influence its final design. Blueprint 2040 will be guided by a Steering Committee that will provide policy direction and assist with strategy development. The Regional Transportation Plan Update Steering Committee will also help us identify and work with an even broader group of stakeholders and assist in addressing the ideas.

Did you know?

  • Flagstaff was designated an inaugural Walk Friendly Community in 2011 at the Bronze level.  We are one of 55 communities nationwide and the only designated community in Arizona

  • Flagstaff was designated a Bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community in 2006 and upgraded to Silver in 2010.  Flagstaff is one of 350 communities nationwide and one of 10 designated in Arizona

  • NAU is one of 35 Bicycle Friendly Universities (designated in 2012 at the Silver level)

  • NAIPTA was awarded transit system of the year in 2013 by APTA

  • NAIPTA received the rural transit system of the year in 2010 by CTAA
